Hours & Policies

   

General Policies

All members must sign in at the desk with their membership card. If a member loses their card, they will be required to purchase a replacement (we are not responsible for lost or stolen membership cards).

 

  • Anyone who uses someone else's membership card to gain access to the facility is subject to removal and a permanent ban from using the facility. 

 

Aerosols and perfumes are prohibited in the facilities (to respect those with allergies.)

 

No food will be allowed.

 

To ensure a comfortable atmosphere for everyone, please be courteous and respectful of others.

 

Behavior deemed inappropriate by Center staff will be grounds for immediate expulsion from the building.  Continued inappropriate behavior may result in loss of membership privileges with NO refund. (Inappropriate behavior includes unwilling-ness to follow facility rules, harassment of other members and staff, creating a safety hazard, etc.)

 

Children under 14 are not permitted to use the facility unless accompanied by an adult.

 

Children must be at least 12 or older to enter during normal hours, but must be with an adult.

 

Anyone utilizing the facility is required to have a liability waiver on file. Minors must have a legal guardian sign their waiver.

 

Children may use the Pool if they are doing lap swimming or exercising only no playing around in the pool unless it is Family Time. 

 

The only time children under 12 can be in the facility is during Family Time, unless they have swimming lessons or a private swim lesson with an instructor. 

 

Shirts and shorts must be worn at all times for sanitary reasons.

 

Athletic shoes are required.

 

Report broken or damaged equipment immediately.

 

For the safety of all the members, any member who refuses to abide by the staff’s request or instruction will be required to leave the area.

 

Profanity or abusive language is not acceptable.

 

This is a smoke free building. Alcohol and drugs are not allowed in the facility or on grounds.

 

Hospital parking lot is for the hospital patients and visitors only.

 

Please respect closing times. Please be out of the locker rooms at that time.

 

Lock up all valuables. We do not accept the responsibility for lost or stolen articles.

 

Lockers are for daily use only unless they are registered.

 

Lost and found items are kept for 30 days.

 

Weight and Exercise Rooms

Wipe off equipment when finished.  Sanitizing spray and paper towels are located in the exercise, circuit and weight rooms.

 

Please pick up magazines and return them to the racks before leaving the area.

 

When using equipment, please return weights and equipment to proper storage areas.

 

Avoid slamming the plates or dropping dumbbells.

 

Allow others to “work in” or take turns.

 

Music must be played at a reasonable volume in respect to all members

 

There is a 30 minute time on cardiovascular equipment, when people are waiting for machines.

 

Pool

Bathing suits with liners must be worn.  No cut-offs.

 

A soapy shower is required prior to entering or re-entering the pool.

 

Feet first entry only- No diving.

 

Please avoid all forms of dangerous activity in the pool area.  (No running, diving, pushing, throwing objects, horseplay, etc.)

 

Walk with caution on deck and in locker rooms- No running.

 

No glass allowed in pool area.

 

Small children must wear a swim diaper or plastic pants.

 

During regular open times, all must be doing water exercises or laps.  No horseplay.

 

Lap swimmers have the right of way over non-lappers.

 

Lap swimmers-Always stay in your lane and avoid large splashes.

 

Non lap swimmers-please group at one side of the pool when others are lap swimming.

 

All equipment and toys may ONLY be used during Family Time.

 

Hot Tub and Steam Room

Healthy adults have a 15 minute maximum time limit.  (10 minutes is an appropriate recommendation.)

 

Persons with heart disease, hypertension, seizure disorders, diabetes or obesity; pregnant women; persons who have ingested alcohol or medications that result in drowsiness or interfere with the body’s temperature-regulating mechanism; and persons who are over 65 years of age must consult with their physician before using these areas.

 

Children under the age of 14 are not allowed in these areas.

 

Proper swim attire is required in whirlpool.

 

Proper coverage is required in the steam room.

 

For safety reasons, cool down well after a hard workout before use of these areas.

 

Gym and Racquetball

Non-marking shoes must be worn.

 

Shirt and shoes are required.

 

All equipment, Basketballs, protective eye wear, racquetballs and racquets, may be checked out.

 

No radio is allowed.

 

Racquetball court may be reserved up to one week in advance.  One hour per member per day.

 

The person(s) responsible for any damages done to the equipment (balls, hoops, nets, racquets, etc.) will be charged the cost of replacing or repairing the damaged equipment.

 

Family Time

Children under 2 are free during Family Times.

 

Children under 18 must have an adult present at all times and there must be 1 adult for every 3 children.

 

  • Pool Rules

    • No toys from home can be brought into the pool.  This includes: inner tubes, snorkels, fins, water wings, face masks, balls or other floatation devices.

    • Facility equipment may only be used with the lifeguards’ discretion.

    • Life jackets (not supplied) may be used by non-swimmer children with an ADULT in the water.

    • No disposable diapers—plastic pants or swim diapers required. 

    • Swimming permitted only while lifeguard is on duty.

 

  • Gym Rules

    • Note:  The weight and exercise rooms are NOT available to Family Time participants.   Please see that your children do not play on the equipment because there is a potential for injury to the inexperienced and young user.  Such behavior may result in discontinuing Family Times completely.

    • Please be respectful of each other while using the gym during this time.

    • Non-marking athletic shoes must be worn.  Black-soled shoes are prohibited.

 


   

 

Registration Policy


Registration for classes begins approximately one month prior to the first class and is open to members only. All fees must be paid at the time of registration. 

Cancellation Policy


Lessons and fitness classes - Must cancel at least two weeks prior to the first scheduled class meeting. Note: Once a class is full, spots will not be added. This is to prevent over crowding in the class areas.

Credits, Refunds or Tranfers


No credits, refunds or tranfers on any membership. Credits are available for classes.
Refunds will only be available if a class is cancelled due to low enrollment.
